John and I just got back from Yellowstone a couple weeks ago, and we’ve been editing LOTS of travel photos (which will be posted soon….hopefully!!! which I recently posted here!!!), so I’m sorry for not blogging lately.
When we arrived back home to Connecticut, we learned that Buddy had crossed the Rainbow Bridge (you might remember him from our previous post.) Well, Buddy had cancer….and it had taken a toll on his little 14 year old body. Did you know that canine cancer affects 1 in 3 dogs? And of that, over half will die of cancer? Well, neither did I until just recently. It sucks…just sucks!
Doing the photo shoot with Buddy and his mom really made me appreciate the special bond people have with their pups. So, in honor of Buddy, John and I have joined a bunch of other fabulous pet photographers across the country to raise money for the National Canine Cancer Foundation through Smile for a Cure. During the month of August and September, we will be donating 100% of our session fees to the National Canine Cancer Foundation.
Let’s help put an end to this nasty disease!!!!
